Our students visited houses, castles, palaces and churches that were preserved for almost 400 years! The buildings were owned by locals that had to abandon the town after a collapse in their economy.
In addition to the amazing historical buildings, Alcantara is known for its beautiful desert beaches. Our students had a chance to dive right into Alcantara’s history as well as dive right into beautiful waters of the atlantic ocean during an unforgettable weekend!
