Exchange students visit Botanical Park

Our exchange students enjoyed a great trip to the Botanical Park of Vale, which is a reserved natural area 15 minutes away from the city center  of São Luís.

Among other things, the students participated in a trail through a forest, got to learn more about the nature life and took part in what we call “The trail of senses”, where they had to blindfold and do some activities to stimulate the senses, such as smelling different plants, tasting exotic fruits, hearing some different animal sounds to identify every one of them.

It was one of the activities organized by our inbound department. We’ll keep you posted of more activities throughout the semester.
